We provide 5 free lessons with any bow purchase from Predator’s.

We feel that it is very important that our customers gain the full functional benefit and accuracy from their purchase. We want you to be started the right way and achieve success from the very beginning.

If you have already been shooting for a while, the lessons could be used for some form tuning or even working on form problems.

Lesson rates for individual are just $15.00 per lesson per individual. If you don’t have any equipment, we will provide it.

For groups or families of 4 or more, our rate is $7.50 per person and includes the equipment and beginning level instruction. What a great way to try out the sport or just to get together.

All lessons are by appointment only. Please call ahead to schedule a lesson. Sorry, no walk-ins.

Did you buy a Bow or other archery item on E-bay, from a Catalog, used or from an online source?

Our prices are very competitive with everybody, even the catalogs and all purchases include custom fitting and installation of the accessories purchased.

We also provide 5 FREE lessons at the store with any bow purchase. Lessons must be prescheduled.

Bring the item in. We can set it up for you, repair and or replace parts if need, provided that they are repairable or available. Need a lesson or two using your new bow? We can provide that.

Here is a quick check list of items you may need or have done to your bow.

  • If it is new, there may be some assembly and set up which needs to be done. Many times this needs to be done using a bow press. Damage to the bow and yourself could occur if you don't have the proper equipment.

  • Accessories may need to be installed. Sometimes the instructions and setup are not quite as clear as they should be. That is OK. We know how to do it. They are clear to us.

  • Older bows need to be inspected for abuse and wear. Parts may be missing or improperly installed.

  • Older bows usually will need a new set of strings. Strings break down over time, especially underneath the servings were you can't see. Older bows generally have overstretched strings and are out of time or specs. Older bows may need to have the metal cables replaced. Even though the cables are metal, they still will break down over use.

  • Used bows should have there axils replaced and/or lubed. Older bows will have worn bushings and may need to be replaced if possible. The older the bow is, the more likely it has been dry fired. A dry fire is when the bow is shot without an arrow attached to the string. Very bad. This can bend the axils, bend or break the cams and damage the limbs.

  • It fits you, right? Bows need to be custom fit to the user. Newer bows usually have a larger area of adjustments. Older bows have a more limited range. Bring it in and if it is adjustable to your draw length, we can help correct it.

  • Is it the right bow for your needs? Is the poundage too low or high? Is it going to be used for hunting, target or both?

  • Correctly matched arrows are needed for the bow for full benefit and accuracy. You can take a good low cost bow and use high end matched arrows and achieve supreme accuracy. But, you cannot take the "world's greatest bow" and use poorly matched arrows and expect to group them accurately. In reality, the arrows are more important than the bow. Buy the way, a 10" pattern at 30 yards in not a group. A group at 30 yards should be a 3" pattern or better which is very achievable with proper arrows and a bow that fits.
